Freight Forwarding

Freight forwarding is the act of directing a shipment from initial pickup to final consignee delivery. Forwarders work with a variety of carriers, warehouses and terminals to route a shipment. Each shipment may pass through several carriers and make multiple stops before it is delivered.

Freight forwarding companies act as a third party and often times never see the freight.
